Send a Letter to the Editor of your Local Newspaper

The requirements change, so it's best to send an email to the Editors asking them for their guidelines for Letters, Opinion Pieces, etc.  Here is the email address for the East Valley Tribune:  forum@evtrib.com.  Here is the email address for the Arizona Republic.  se.letters@arizonarepublic.com.  These letters are very, very important, especially because both of these newspapers lean to the Left.  There are conservative Republicans floundering in the wilderness who read these publications.  It's up to all of us to reassure them they are not alone.

Are you registered in the ALIS system?

Click on Tracking, and Register. Then explore the site.

Have you heard of FOIA?

It’s the Freedom of Information Act.  The federal government, all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and some territories have some form of freedom of information legislation that governs documents at the state and local (cities, counties, school districts) level.  You have the right to view and/or obtain copies of those documents through a Public Records Request.  You will be charged, but it is usually a nominal fee, depending on the number of pages.
