PCRC Approves Motion to Censure Shope, Pratt, and Coleman

Sources from within the Pinal County Republican Committee (PCRC) have advised Gila Watch that today, November 16, 2013, the PCRC voted to:

"Censure Arizona Representatives Frank Pratt (LD8), T J Shope (LD8), and Douglas Coleman (LD16) for voting for the Medicaid expansion against the expressed position of this body and the Republican Party platform, aligning with the democrats and helping welfare expansion and Obamacare in Arizona. We therefore censure these legislators, and encourage other Pinal County Republicans to likewise disassociate themselves from any of these who may be candidates for office in the upcoming 2014 elections."

The motion passed with just under 70% of the vote.

Dr. Ralph Heap to run against Bob Worsley in LD25

Please attend the Thursday, Jan. 9 meeting of the Mountain View TEA Party and meet an excellent conservative candidate who is running against Bob Worsley (LD25) in 2014.   Dr. Ralph Heap, an orthopedic surgeon, received his M.D. from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1978, and has been practicing for 30 years.

.  The meeting takes place at 7 pm in the Mesa Utility Building,  640 N. Mesa Dr.

“ObamaCare will destroy our healthcare system and our economy with it.  It is an unmitigated disaster, yet my opponent voted to expand and fully implement ObamaCare here in Arizona, committing the taxpayers to hundreds of millions of dollars in new costs and further surrendering our health care system to the federal government.  As a doctor, I know the issues, I know what is at stake, I will be an effective voice at the Legislature, and I will fight passionately for free market reforms and the end of ObamaCare."  Dr. Ralph Heap

In just ONE legislative session, Bob Worsley raised taxes, voted for Obama-care (the Medicaid expansion), violated Prop 108  (the Taxpayer Protection act), voted against Pro-Life Amendments, voted for taxpayer funded scholarships for illegals (which is also a violation of the law), and he scored the worst of any Republican Senator from Americans for Prosperity–earning the Hero of Big Government award.

In fact, three Democrats scored higher than Bob Worsley, including the Democrat Minority Leader Chad Campbell!

Thursday, April 3: Ralph Heap Fundraiser

Please don’t miss this special fundraiser on behalf of Dr. Ralph Heap’s candidacy for Arizona Senate in Legislative District 25.  He is running against incumbent Bob Worsley.

"Remember, Obamacare is not about health insurance for the poor.  It is about control of one-sixth of our economy," states Dr. Heap.

“I believe in the promise of America, and I will work hard to fulfill that promise. This is the greatest nation on earth, and its greatness lies in the brilliance of the Constitution. Everything good about America stems from the liberties protected by this majestic document.

"We stand at a crossroads.  One of the biggest problems we face today is the takeover by the federal government of our healthcare system.  Unless many of us in the medical profession stand up to these bureaucrats, we face a dismal future.

"From the youngest to the oldest, from the healthiest to the sickest, no one will be untouched by this federal power grab.  I hope to accomplish many things if I am elected, including fixing our healthcare system, preserving the Constitution, reigning in the EPA, strengthening our schools, supporting our law enforcement officers,  lowering taxes, decreasing regulations, and shrinking government.  Preserving liberty means less government and more individual freedom. That is my goal.”

HB2699 and HB2700: Good News and Bad News

Recently, Gilbert Watch asked you to email Arizona Senators asking them to support two important bills: HB2699 Endangered Species – Program Rescission – Reimbursement and HB2700 …"recover all state lands that have been acquired by the federal government.  The good news is that HB2699 passed.  The bad news is that HB2700 failed to pass.

As a precinct committeeman, I visit with citizens.  Most are unaware that our country is swiftly being taken over by the federal government agencies made up of unelected bureaucrats who are paid by the taxpayers.  This lack of awareness stems from their source of news.  These citizens are also unaware that the newspapers they read and most of the television reporting they watch are part of what has truly become the Collectivist Media.   For example, the collectivist media did not report one of the most significant events in American history:  The Cliven Bundy vs the BLM stand-off.  Why?  Because the fact that over 2,000 patriotic Americans standing up for individual liberties does not fit the collectivist agenda.

Stop the Coup to Unseat Senate President Andy Biggs!

Rumors have been flying around the State capitol that the Democrats are planning to unseat Senator Andy Biggs as Senate President or to roll him on the Medicaid expansion or both.  All they need is 4 Republican Senators to go along with them.  There are 12 Democrat senators.  The number needed to unseat Senator Biggs is 16.  (See The ObamaCare Girls:  Brewer and Pelosi)

What do they have against Senate President Andy Biggs?  Senator Biggs has and will continue to fight AGAINST the Medicaid expansion.  It was Senate President Andy Biggs who authored this statement against the Medicaid expansion: President of the Arizona Senate, Andy Biggs, Responds to Mike Broomhead.

It was Senate President Andy Biggs who spoke against the Medicaid expansion at this anti-Medicaid expansion Rally on April 25. .

Polls indicate that 70% of Republicans in Arizona do Not want the expansion.

Our Republican Governor Brewer is determined to force the Medicaid expansion on the people of Arizona, and she is willing to join with the Democrats and the disgruntled Republican Senators if that’s what it takes.
