You may be surprised at the low number. Is it this low where you live? Keep in mind that Gilbert is well known for being one of the safest municipalities in the United States.
Gilbert is also well known for having fewer police by population than its surrounding cities. Our Police Department is very effective at keeping costs down, but quality high. Gilbert does not have a large number of illegals. Is your city more inviting to them?
Our population during 2010 and 2011 was roughly 210,000 residents, including children.
