Recall the Youtube video of the Syrian Christian woman who pleaded with John McCain to NOT bomb Syria? She cited the death of her 18-year old cousin, who was killed by the Syrian Free Army (SFA) "Rebels." She explained to McCain her fear that the minority Christians in Syria will be treated brutally by the Muslim fundamentalists who dominate the "Rebels." At least, she said, under Assad, the Christians live in relative peace.
The deadly arrogant McCain would hear none of it. He lectured this woman on the Truth of the SFA Rebels. "I, too, have been to Syria. I know these people. I’ve met with them. I know them."

Below is a letter out of Aleppo, Syria, that was written in late July by a physician. A lifelong Aleppo resident of Armenian heritage, this man has remained in one of the ancient city’s Christian neighborhoods throughout a 14-month siege by rebel forces. He is a trusted source to WORLD, not named for security reasons, with a long history of medical aid work throughout the Middle East and Asia. This letter is reprinted with permission of Barnabas Aid, which first published it.
Since he wrote, the rebel blockade of Aleppo has now entered its third month. Water, electricity, and communication are cut off, infrastructure has collapsed, and residents cannot leave, nor can aid be brought in. For Aleppo residents, all necessities of life are in short supply and prices have soared. A bag of lentils that only a year ago cost 50 Syrian pounds, or about $1, now may cost anywhere from $5 to $10. Because of shortages and the exorbitant cost, churches—one in Aleppo was providing meals for 35,000 displaced Syrians only a few months ago—have been forced to halt help for the needy.
Aleppo—Syria’s largest city, with more than 2 million people in the country’s industrial and agricultural heartland—has a historically diverse religious and ethnic makeup. The rebels’ success at taking over much of the city suggests they stand a chance at toppling the government of Bashar al-Assad. But the humanitarian crisis they have created will make anyone wonder what kind of government the opposition forces might deliver were they to successfully replace Assad. The blockade, meanwhile, has gone uncontested by the United States and its allies, making many Syrians doubt the U.S. move toward military strikes is designed to relieve their humanitarian crisis, or address the many atrocities of this war. —Mindy Belz

As you attend your Christian church today, consider the strength of your faith. Are you willing to suffer verbal abuse and even lawsuits the Leftists? What’s your price for denouncing your closely held beliefs? Do you crumble when the Religion of Leftism insists that you are a “human rights” violator because you refuse to photograph a wedding ceremony between two men or two women? Are you too "politically correct" to tell a young woman that an abortion stops a beating heart? When did murder become a "woman’s right to choose"?
In America, Christians are routinely demonized by the Leftists and their media allies who call us every name imaginable simply because we refuse to practice the Religion of Leftism. Christians practice the Religion of Peace and want only to be left alone to do so. We Christians do not FORCE others to practice our faith. Invitations to attend church are not mandatory.
In America, I see more and more of us practicing “cotton candy Christianity.” We have gutless pastors whose adoration for Leftism trumps their adoration of Jesus. We have pastors who would rather perform wedding ceremonies for gay couples than tell them that it’s against their religious beliefs. We have pastors who sit by and say nothing when a woman “chooses” to stop a tiny heart that beats within her womb. We have pastors who lecture Arizona senators and representatives about how it’s "un-Christian" of them to not force taxpayers to be charitable.
They all offend God and Jesus, and call it "human rights." It isn’t enough that the Leftists want to practice their own religion. No, they aren’t content until they force everybody to participate in their religious practices.
Their freedom to swing their fists ends at my nose.
This is what Christianity Looks Like in other Countries.
Estimates vary, but it’s probably correct that between 100,000 and 176,000, maybe more, Christians are slaughtered every year simply because they are Christians. Right now, Syrian Christians are terrified that John McCain’s Rebel friends will help topple Assad. McCain has gone on record to deny the Truth that a Syrian Christian woman told him: She is not a fan of Assad, but at least he left Christians alone to practice their religion in peace. McCain’s Rebels include extremist Islamists who will murder Christians.
But the arrogant idiot McCain lectured her about how he knows more than she does about Syria, and how his brilliant analysis of his friends “the rebels” is far superior to hers.
The organization International Christian Concern also disagrees with McCain. They have documented the reality of torture and death that Christians are already facing from McCain’s Islamist “rebels.”

“As Syrian Christians, we used to live in peace under Assad. Assad is not a perfect man, yet he gave the Christians freedom and rights the same as Muslims. We could wear what we wanted and we had churches all over the country.
“Then when the uprising started, we began to see many Islamist jihadists from Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. They began to kill us (the Christians) and other minorities who are considered infidels. The Islamists killed us with knives and even decapitated some and burned down our churches.
“Now, Christians are not welcome under their Islamist rule. No Western country will give us visas. Many times, we feel like the whole world, want to see the Christians of Syria slaughtered!”
THE NEED.
If you don’t have the courage to stand up against verbal abuse and lawsuits from the Leftists, then at least DONATE to those who have the courage to practice their faith, in spite of torture and death!
“Since the civil war in Syria began, Christians have increasingly suffered attacks from radical Islamists. ICC receives reports of murders, rapes, and other atrocities committed against Syrian Christians on a daily basis!
"In the past 18 months, a staggering 2 million Syrians have fled their country to seek refuge in neighboring countries. Syrian Christian leaders are asking for our help for those Christians who have fled. Unable to work, they are desperate. Help is necessary to sustain the families and very little aid has come to them so far.
"We are working directly with churches on the ground to provide the basic needs of food and shelter, so that children and families can stay intact and healthy. To meet the need, we are partnering with other Christian groups to provide food for these Christians."

John McCain’s response to this Syrian Christian woman, whose 18-year old cousin was killed 10 days before by the Syrian Free Army "Rebels," is callously arrogant. He is condescending toward a woman whose family can be traced back to Biblical times and currently lives in Syria. They are among the Christian minority who, if the Rebels defeat Assad, will most likely be brutalized and murdered at their hands. But John McCain knows better. "I, too, have been to Syria. Obama Still Knows Nothing about Benghazi, but Everything about Syria?

"A year after the Benghazi attack that claimed our Ambassador and other Americans, we still have few answers. Speculation and conspiracy theories run rampant, while our government dodges the matter.
"Yet mere days after the alleged chemical attacks in Syria, President Obama claimed that he had proof that Assad committed this crime against humanity, despite the fact that conditions for investigation in Syria are far more challenging than they are in Benghazi.
"In the Middle Eastern environment of perpetual exaggeration, the highest death estimate by the rebels was 1,300 men, women and children killed. The US administration raised the rebel estimate to 1,429. Can we get a blood sample?
"The bodies were buried within 24 hours in accordance with Islamic custom. Hardly enough time get an exact count of 1,429. From where did this number derive? Every serious combat trooper, cop, correspondent, anyone who sees action first hand and then sees reports, knows that first reports are always wrong, and often very wrong.
"Nobody doubts that chemicals were used, but who did it? A rogue general? And where is the primary source for the count of 1,429?
"Are these body reports cobbled together from second or third hand sources that might include double and triple counts, rumors, or complete fabrications? Syria is, after all, the navel of the Middle East, a wellspring for rumors, exaggerations, conspiracy theories, and the most obvious lies created by man.
"The casualty count of 1,429 is important. If President Obama plays fast and furious with casualties, it is fair to wonder whether he is playing sloppy with alleged communications intercept."

The timeline begins at 5:45 am on September 11, 2011: Hijackers Pass Through Security Screening in Portland, Maine. On the morning of 9/11, a total of nineteen terrorists will hijack four California-bound commercial airplanes shortly after their departures from airports in Boston, Massachusetts; Newark, New Jersey; and the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
Hijackers Mohamed Atta and Abdul Aziz al-Omari pass through security at Portland International Jetport in Maine at 5:45 a.m. Atta and al-Omari board a commuter flight to Boston Logan International Airport, where they connect to American Airlines Flight 11. Three other hijackers will join Atta and al-Omari aboard Flight 11.
Less than two hours later, the five terrorists who will hijack American Airlines Flight 77 are videotaped as they pass through Washington Dulles International Airport’s west checkpoint. Three of the hijackers, Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar, and Majed Moqed set off metal detectors, but no weapons are found. They proceed to the gate. The hijackers are carrying concealed knives on their persons or in their carry-on luggage.
Before 9/11, airports were not required to videotape security checkpoints. At that time, knives were allowed on planes if the blade was less than four inches in length.
