Gilbert School Board Meeting Tonight: Attack the Conservative Board Members

Please attend tonight’s board meeting.  Join the fun as you witness how unpaid board members who demand fiscal responsibility and accountability are beaten up by their employees who demand MORE MONEY!  Basically, these employees have learned that if they rant, rave, and threaten you, you’ll cave in and get your way.

Governing Board Room, 7:00 p.m.
Gilbert Public Schools
Building B
140 S. Gilbert Road
Gilbert, AZ 85296

Did you catch the article following the May 7 board meeting?  Fed Up Parents and Teachers Pack Gilbert Board Meeting.  Pay special attention to the 6 photos, especially the “tail-gate” party.  As you can see by the photos in the AZ Central article, a “tail-gate” party is where teachers and staff socialize with each other and hold signs in the parking lot that instruct the board on what they WANT from them.  It’s also an opportunity for teachers and staff to chant at certain board members (especially Daryl Colvin) about what they WANT from them.  (Option C is the only budget option that did NOT raise the Primary Property Tax Rate.)  The comments at the end of this article will give you an idea of what three conservative board members face on a daily basis.  .

Here’s an article about the last special board meeting which was held May 15:  Gilbert School Board votes to Continue Free, Full-day Kindergarten; Tables vote on Budget Override.  More classy comments at the end.

The GEA (union) president Diane Drazinski has announced another “tail-gate” party at 5:30 pm tonight.

Here’s a FB post from a Gilbert Public Schools staffer that was found by Westie Connect.  Some GPS Employees Choose the Wrong Path

A support staffer at Highland High School is really, really angry that she hasn’t gotten her raise yet:

“I would like to personally thank all of the people within the Gilbert Public School district who voted in the three bafoons [sic] to the governing board of said district who don’t think Classified employees deserve a raise. Yes, I said bafoons!!!! I am hurt but more importantly I AM MAD!!!!!! When asked to her face if she thinks Classified employees deserve a raise, Staci Burk said, “No, I don’t”. Well, try running a district without Classified Employees…oh wait…..I think that’s exactly what they’re trying to do…get rid of the “help”. Well…good luck with that…

Comments in support of that illiterate screed include:

#  I think what you say.
#  Preach it girl!!!!
#  Is anyone working on recalling the “bafoons”?
#  I would support a recall!!! Lets do it!! I’ll help!”
