Last night, LD22 Republican Precinct Committeemen came together to vote on their Chairman. Jeff Smith won 128-118. Whether you were for Adam Armer or Jeff Smith, we all agreed on one thing: We’re glad it’s over!! This was a special run-off election, since the December election resulted in a tie. The previous November election had been invalidated due to not conforming to County rules.
The truth is, within this passionate Republican Legislative District, there is much more that pulls us together than tears us apart. We are more alike in our principles and beliefs than we realize.
As Eddie Cook began to read the results, I was praying for one thing: please don’t let this be a tie!
