Tracy Langston has organized a meeting at which Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal will answer questions about the Arizona Common Core Standards.
This meeting will take place on Monday, June 24, at 7:00 pm, at the Heritage Academy Auditorium. The Heritage Academy is located at 32 S. Center, Mesa. Please park in the back of the school, which is off of Drew Street.
This meeting is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so please arrive early; doors will open at 6:30 PM. If you are a parent of a charter school student or a homeschool parent, you are encouraged to attend to find out how Common Core Standards will affect your child.
This is not an advocacy meeting in favor of or against Common Core Standards. It is a forum for us to be able to interact with the highest elected official in charge of education in the state of Arizona.
