This morning, the Town Council voted 7-0 to approve the offer of an employment agreement to Patrick Banger of O’Fallon, Missouri. He starts on August 15. The Council members expressed confidence in Mr. Banger’s leadership skills, economic development expertise, and fiscal responsibility.
Individual Council members had the opportunity to speak with 20-25 references, including those who sung Mr. Banger’s praises, as well as those who did not always agree with him. But they frequently spoke of his professionalism and integrity.
Vice Mayor Daniels thanked the staff for their hard work and for accommodating the Council so graciously throughout the process.
