Salute a Soldier 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk 2014

AZ Heroes to Hometowns is proud to honor our wounded troops and military who have fought for our freedoms and have given so much.   We are sponsoring the 4th Annual "Salute a Soldier 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk 2014."

DATE OF THE EVENT:  Saturday, March 22, 2014.   Ceremony begins at 7:45 am.  1-Mile Walk begins @ 8:00 A.M.   5K Run begins at 8:20 am.

COST$45.00 5K Run or $25.00 1 Mile Walk (family rates are available)

LOCATION:   Freestone Park, 1045 E Juniper Rd, Gilbert, AZ (At the corner of Lindsay and Juniper Roads between Guadalupe and Elliot Roads)

PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION:  For your convenience we have set up an account with Active at Salute a Soldier 5K Race and 1 Mile Walk  to register for either the 5K run or 1 mile walk.  Use discount code SAS15 until Jan 25 and receive a $15.00 discount off the 5K Run registration.  (After January 25, the entry fee for the 5K Run will be $45.00.)  Last minute registrations will be accepted on the day of the race starting at 7:00 AM.  $45.00 to run. $25.00 to walk.  Cash, check, or credit card accepted on race day.

DATE FOR REGISTRANTS TO PICK UP PACKETS:  Thursday March 20, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at race location (Freestone Park).  Look for the banner and table set up across from the ball fields.  Or, you can pick up your packet the day of the race starting at 7:00 am.
