A great place to gather signatures for the Stop Brewercare Petition drive is at Fireworks Events around the valley. Most are not having booths, but be sure to check with the sponsors to find out if you will be allowed to gather signatures on the premises. There is a group of people going to the Tempe Fireworks Event around 6:30 pm Thursday night.
New training and coordination center for east Maricopa County URAPC petition drive
For GOP PC training, turning in petitions for notary processing, petition inspection, supplies and tracking for east Maricopa County, go to the east valley training center. It is located at the Community room at the City of Mesa Utilities Building 640 N Mesa Drive, Mesa, AZ 85201 (Here’s the Map.) It is open Wednesdays 6:30PM – 8:30PM July 3rd through September 4. Other hubs may be organized later, especially in other counties.
Some Questions and Answers regarding the petitions.
Q- What do you do if a couple of people write down the wrong date and then the sheet is not in date order? Correct it or leave it? Do they have to be in exact date order ?
A – Out of order date is OK – does not matter on a Referendum. They must write everything in their own words.
Q- Many people are writing the city in with the address section and then again under the city column. Is this ok as long as all the information is filled in the correct columns?
A- This is OK.
Q- What happens if a person signs a sheet in the wrong county?
A- INVALID! BE SURE TO KEEP SIGNATURES ON SEPARATE PAGES ACCORDING TO THE COUNTY IN WHICH THE SIGNER IS REGISTERED. CRITICALLY IMPORTANT. Mixing counties on the same page will get that whole page thrown out!

The Fake Petition
Members of the URAPC Alliance have spotted BRAT’s (Brewer Ruins Arizona Team) with what many believe is a “petition” in Glendale, the East Valley, and for the first time, in Tucson Arizona, including Golf Links and Oro Valley Libraries.
The Governor is PAYING signature gatherers to follow the URAPC Alliance. Why? It creates confusion and leads people to think they have already signed a petition.
Alliance: Do not be intimidated by the BRATs. They are so weak they have to fake it. Keep your FOCUS on the war – we are stopping a socialist takeover of Arizona’s health care system.
BRATs do not have a real petition.
BRATs do not have a real Proposition.
They are a weak alternative to our passion and our commitment.
Details of the BRAT Petition
The BRATs are carrying a paper with the title: “Petition in Support of Health Care for Arizonans Who Need it Most.”
Video them and take their pictures. Record what they are saying. Send it to: info@urapc.org. DO NOT ENGAGE them.
Do not risk invalidating your signatures! You may be engaging with a professional agitator who is attempting to get you on record saying something that will invalidate your efforts. They are part of the axis and are being paid to take out the Alliance.
URAPC petitions all have R-01-2014 in the right-hand corner.
What you can do.
Make a sign with an arrow pointing at them with a catchy slogan like, “This person supports Obamacare.”
Or have your own sign “STOP Obamacare. Sign here.”
Other ideas
Bring along Voter Registration forms for those who say they are not registered.
Try to sign up PC’s as well. Send contact information to your LD Chairman in the district they live.
Make copies of the completed petition sheets and use that information for GOTV efforts in 2014.
