On the evening of Thursday, January 23, I attended a Payson TEA Party meeting featuring Doug Little. This meeting was not about his campaign for Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party. He did not bring up his campaign at all. The topic at this meeting was Gun Rights and the Second Amendment.
The overriding message from Mr. Little was: Remain vigilant and do not allow Congress or the Arizona Legislature to pass anything at all that infringes on the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.

Chicago Shootings since Wednesday: 55, 9 Dead
As of Saturday morning, July 6, fifty-five people have been shot across Chicago since Wednesday. Nine are dead. Two boys, ages 5 and 7 among those seriously hurt. Chicago, with a population of 2.7 million people, has some of the most stringent gun laws in America. Chicago is home to President Barack Obama.
On the other hand, Arizona has some of the least stringent gun laws in America. You do not even need to own a concealed carry permit to carry a firearm. In Phoenix, with a population of 1.4 million people, as of last Wednesday, through Saturday morning, no one was shot, and no one lay dead.
Question: Do gun laws keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and the insane? No, gun laws keep firearms out of the hands of law-abiding citizens who use them to protect themselves.

THIS is the Way to do a Recall: For Justifiable Reasons
Did you hear about the recent Recall of Colorado DEMOCRAT Senate President John Morse? Here’s the article Sen. John Morse Recalled: First Colorado Legislative Recall. Here are the bullet points. I saved the best part for last. (HAHAHAHAHAHA!)
*Rob Harris, the leader of the effort, had never been involved in politics before. What got him involved was Morse’s dismissive attitude towards an email he sent Morse about gun control laws.
*Refusal to listen to his constituents is par for the course for Morse, who on national television described how he counseled fellow senators to ignore their constituents’ emails and calls and vote for the gun control bills.
“We want a representative, not a ruler,” Harris said. “Morse has tried to be a ruler and we’re firing him.”

Here we go again. Zealots from the Left, headed by Randy Parraz, want to neuter our Second Amendment Rights. They do not believe you have the God-given right to protect yourself, your family, or your property. What better way to accomplish this than to remove a strong defender of the Second Amendment, Sheriff Joe Arpaio? Sheriff Arpaio is one of 290 sheriffs (at last count) across America who have vowed to uphold and defend the Constitution against Obama’s unlawful gun control measures.
There are 3,000 sheriffs in America, so you can see why Sheriff Arpaio is such a threat to those who don’t believe law abiding citizens have the right to bear arms.
Parraz and his band of Leftists tried but couldn’t defeat Arpaio in November 2012. And so they have resorted to using the "shot full of loop-holes" Recall method to get rid of the Sheriff. And so, we will be subjected to another media circus, including the usual headlines, photo ops, and steady stream of quotes from Randy “Mr Respectful” Parraz, compliments of his fawning entourage of Peter Pans who call themselves “reporters.”
