Ten Propositions on November 2, 2010 Ballot

Please review the 10 Propositions at the Arizona Tea Party website. You will see both the pro and con arguments, and you can take the voting poll.

Gilbert Watch is voting YES on all propositions, except Propositions 111 & 203, which are NO. Regarding Prop 111, Gilbert Watch takes the position to retain the name Secretary of State and allow voters to retain their independence and vote for the Secretary of State they want. The voter shouldn’t be hamstrung to a predetermined "running mate" that isn’t of their choosing. As for the title, Secretary of State is just fine. A rose by any other name is still a rose. Also, legalizing medical marijuana will create incredible problems for employers who will be sued by an employee for wrongfully discharging the employee who smokes marijuana on the job, or will be sued by someone who is injured by an employee who is smoking marijuana on the job. It will be a lose-lose situation.
