Have you noticed a good-lookin’ Town employee riding his bicycle around in your neighborhood and reading your water meter? This is a new sight thanks to the cost-saving suggestion from Town Manager Patrick Banger’s town staff. No longer will the meter readers be driving around in vehicles throughout neighborhoods. Rather, they will drive to the entrance of a subdivision, park, and then pull out their bicycles and tool down the streets, reading the meters.
Less vehicle expense. Less gas. Less cost. More exercise. More fresh air. More fun.
