You never need a late term abortion to save a woman’s life

In the 3rd and final presidential debate, Hillary Clinton was asked why she is against a ban on late-term partial birth abortions. In light of her longstanding association with Planned Parenthood and the abortion business, her answer reveals an astonishing ignorance about the actual process involved in a late term abortion, or she’s outright lying.

In this brief segment Ms. Clinton states "I’ve met with women who at the end of their pregnancy get the worst news that one could get, that their health is in jeopardy if they continue to carry to term or that something terrible has happened or just been discovered about the pregnancy. So, you can regulate if you are doing so with the life and the health of the mother taken into account.”

Here’s the reality. A late term abortion procedure takes 24-72 hours, just to dilate the cervix enough to dismember and remove the baby. A woman whose life is at risk would be dead before the abortion could be completed.

On the other hand, a 1-hour emergency C-Section would most likely save the mother’s and her baby’s lives.

In the following video, Dr. Anthony Levatino, who has performed over 1200 abortions, explains why “You never need a late term abortion to save a woman’s life.” He is now Pro-Life.

In this next video, Dr. Levatino goes into detail about the procedure involved in a late term abortion. A “late term abortion” is usually 25 or more weeks. The baby is nearly fully developed and could survive outside the womb with assistance. First, the abortionist uses a large needle to inject Digoxin through the mother’s abdomen and into the baby’s skull, torso, or heart. The baby feels this pain. Digoxin sends her baby into cardiac arrest and kills him. The abortionist places multiple sticks of laminaria into the cervix. They will slowly open up the cervix enough for a stillborn baby. While the mother waits for the laminaria to dilate her cervix, she carries her dead baby inside of her for 2-3 days. On the second day, the abortionist does another ultrasound to ensure the baby is dead. If the baby is still alive, he injects another dose of Digoxin. The woman then waits in her home, hotel, or some other place for labor to begin. If she can’t get to the abortionist’s in time, she may be advised to deliver her baby into a toilet. The abortionist comes to remove the baby and clean up. If she makes it to the hospital, she will deliver her dead son or daughter there. If the baby doesn’t come out whole, the procedure becomes a D&E (Dilation and Evacuation). The abortionist removes the baby piece by piece. Late term abortions have a high risk of hemorrhage, lacerations, and uterine perforations, as well as a risk of maternal death. Future pregnancies are also at risk for complications.

In the presidential debate, Trump stated, "Well, I think it’s terrible if you go with what Hillary is saying. In the ninth month, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother, just prior to the birth of the baby. Now, you can say that that’s ok, and Hillary can say that that’s ok, but it’s not ok with me."

Clinton responded: "Well, that is not what happens in these cases, and using that kind of scare rhetoric is just terribly unfortunate. You should meet with some of the women that I’ve met with…women that I’ve known over the course of my life. This is one of the worst possible choices that a woman and her family has to make. And I do not believe the government should be making it."

Trump: “Nobody has the right to do what I just said, up to 2 or 3 or 4 days prior to birth. Nobody has that right."

Here’s a graphic video of the final stage of an actual late term abortion. The mother has been carrying her dead baby inside of her for 2-3 days, and now she is ready to deliver her stillborn baby. In order to remove the baby from the womb, the abortionist crushes the baby’s skull. This isn’t “scare rhetoric.” This is the Truth.

Clinton’s assertion that families agonize over this decision is also a lie.

Dr. Vansen Wong began performing abortions back in the 1990s. Today, Wong works at a pregnancy center as their medical director, performing ultrasounds, and speaks to groups about his experience and conversion story. When working as an abortionist, Wong expected most of the abortions to be for women who were in crisis situations. However, he quickly realized that most of the abortions he was performing were not because of rape or medical necessity. One even aborted because she was planning a trip to Europe. “These women would say, ‘it’s not the right time.’”
