Be a Part of the 9/11 Memorial in Gilbert

Did you know that you can honor and remember those lost during the 9/11/2001 attacks by purchasing a brick inscribed with your name or your family’s name? Or you can purchase a Tree of Life which will be planted near the Memorial honoring those who perished.

Town Manager Collin DeWitt and Chief Jim Jobusch traveled to New York and brought back an eight-foot long, 1500 pound beam from the World Trade Center. Gilbert is one of only two municipalities in Arizona to receive an artifact from the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center tragedy.

The goal of the community is to see the 9/11 Memorial in a permanent place of dignity and honor by September 11, 2011. See below for the artist’s rendering.

Please place your order by Monday, July 25 2011, to be included in the 9/11 Memorial for the 10 year Memorial Dedication.
