Gilbert resident Daryl Colvin looks upon training his vocal cords each day the same way any athlete would flex and train his muscles. It’s hard, disciplined work.
He was recently selected from among 41 vocalists to sing the “Star-Spangled Banner” at the July 4 Tempe Town Lake Festival.
