Gilbert Business Rakes in Obama “Grant” Money

Did you read the recent article in the Arizona Republic? “Gilbert Business Recognized by White House, Gives Grant.” If you missed it, here’s the link:

So, what is so wrong with this? Your federal government is singling out and funding with your tax dollars a business that supports the current Administration’s politically favored industry. Right now, that happens to be the “sustainable energy” industry.

This is just one example of Government meddling in America’s Free Enterprise, Free Market system. Wasn’t our nation built on those concepts? The dismantling of our free market system has been going on for years actually. But we are rushing toward Central Government control at warp speed. Solar Energy is only one of the darlings.

And you can see it happening here in Gilbert.

Speaking of the solar industry and this Arizona Republic article in particular, here is a quote from Dr. Craig D. Idso.

Dr. Idso is the founder and former President of the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change and currently serves as Chairman of the Center’s board of directors. Among his many scientific credentials, he also serves as co-editor of the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC). You will find his link on the Gilbert Watch website, but here it is: http://www.co2science.org/.

“Capitalism and the free market does not pick winners and losers in business. That’s on the forsaken path of communism and socialism. And to have the CEO suggest it is ok to receive subsidies from our government, because foreign governments subsidize foreign companies, is deflecting attention from the real problem — government subsidies are only needed in the solar industry because they cannot produce electricity as affordably as they can from fossil fuels. The whole green energy market is a fleecing of the American public, who ultimately bear the cost and burden of higher electrical prices.”
