It is time to celebrate freedom!
Mayor Lewis invites you to attend a Community Patriotic Music Program in celebration of Independence Day. This musical program will be presented on Sunday, June 28, at the Mission Community Church located at 4450 East Elliot Road in Gilbert.
The program will begin at 7:00 pm and will include the Posting of the Colors by Post #39 of the American Legion. The Higley Choir will sing “God Bless America,” and music performances will be provided by Barney and Tamara Carl, Cindy Flores, Keli Rutledge, Michele Bear, and other East Valley musicians. The performance is free and open to all who wish to enjoy an evening of musical tributes to our great nation. Veterans are encouraged to attend so that they can be recognized during the performance. All ages are welcome.
