Mesa Schools more interested in “Glitz” than Responsible Education

Not everyone in Mesa believes that the Mesa School board is fiscally responsible, or that they spend wisely.  Karen Gevaert of Mesa expressed her disappointment in a Letter to the Editor recently published in the East Valley Tribune.

Here is what she had to say:

Letter to the Editor

I’m disappointed that your paper did not post the Mesa School District open meeting for July 9, 2013 for the sole purpose of informing everyone that the “BOARD” will be raising our property taxes.  To me this is important.  The last thing we need is higher taxes.

I personally feel that Mesa school system is more interested in “glitz” than responsible education.
