Stop Looking! I Found Them! Strong Conservatives Victor Petersen and Jordan Ray

Please stop yelling at your friends, family and neighbors, and the television set, over the latest Obama outrage.

Do you want to save your country, or would you rather run around frantically waving your arms in the air? Saving our country begins at home.

By YOUR vote for Victor Petersen and Jordan Ray, Gilbert will finally have a true Conservative majority on the Gilbert Town Council. They will join Conservatives Mayor Lewis, Council Member Jenn Daniels, and Council Member-Elect Eddie Cook.

MEET VICTOR PETERSEN AND JORDAN RAY

What makes them stand out?

“There are two kinds of people. Those who want to be somebody, and those who want to do something.” These words were uttered by the most famous military genius you never heard of. He is the reason for the success of Desert Storm. (“BOYD, the Fighter Pilot Who Changed the Art of War,” by Robert Coram.)

Victor and Jordan are doers whose livelihoods depend on their self-employment. They live and breathe competitive business, and are responsible for the bottom line in their own companies. Unlike government entities, private industry (especially small businesses) cannot survive when they overspend, persist with inefficient processes, and make poor decisions.

Victor and Jordan are experts in budgets, technology, and systems efficiency. Doing more with less is a way of life for Victor, who has written numerous custom software programs and instituted processes in his homebuilding business that have reduced operating costs and increased output, while improving quality.

Jordan is an attorney and principal in his own company, InData, and he knows how to capitalize on Gilbert’s strengths, the biggest of which is the education and experience of its citizens.

They have earned their success through hard work, and through applying what they know to solving problems. They have taken risks, spending their own, not other people’s, money. They have a deep regard for the public purse.

With Victor’s intimate understanding of the Constitution of the United States, and the Arizona Constitution, he is unique in his ability to spot inadvertent abuses by the Town of citizens’ individual and religious rights before they become fodder for the news media. It is one thing to spout those Rights; it’s another to apply them to situations facing the Town.

As an attorney, Jordan can challenge with authority inadvertent misapplications of codes that might create unintended negative consequences to citizens and businesses.

While the incumbents on the Council have fiddled with economic development for years, erroneously believing that “competing for business” means raising taxes so Gilbert can be like “all the surrounding communities,” Victor and Jordan clearly understand that the restrictive codes, regulations, and fees in Gilbert, including higher taxes, repells rather than invites business.

Victor and Jordan are family men, with young children and devoted wives. They are acutely interested in maintaining Gilbert’s safe neighborhoods, excellent schools, parks, and open spaces.

PLEASE GO TO YOUR POLLING PLACE ON 5/17/2011, AND VOTE FOR VICTOR PETERSEN AND JORDAN RAY FOR TOWN COUNCIL. SAY YES TO PROP 428.
