Constitution Week USA

Thanks to the leadership and volunteers relating to this event, Constitution Week USA is made possible by private and corporate donations. It is in its 9th year. Held in Gilbert, Arizona, it is the largest celebration of the signing of the Constitution in the United States. The Constitution was signed in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787.

09/15/2010. SCOUT CLINIC. Come out to work on your Citizenship Merit Badges! Mesquite Jr. High School, 130 W Mesquite St, Gilbert. Check-in @ 6:15 pm. Classes @ 7-8:30 pm. $5.00 fee. (Another opportunity to attend a class is on 9/22/2010.)

09/17/2010 – 09/25/2010. FAMILY LESSON. The home is the greatest classroom. Teach your family about our treasured republic. Go to the Constitution Week USA website (www.constitutionweekusa.com) and download flyers for a family Constitution lesson. Plan on reading the lesson as a family, and doing the activities together on September 22nd. 09/17/2010. THE MIRACLE OF AMERICA CONCERT AND ART EXHIBIT. Mesquite High School, 500 S McQueen Rd, Gilbert. 8:00 pm. $12 Adults; $8 Kids. This event is a profound collaboration of music, visual art, and narration that will not only touch your heart, but will also share with you the miraculous moments in history of our nation’s birth. The Art Exhibit includes 20 images from “The Miracle of America Collection” which will be on exhibit and for sale.

09/18/2010. MAKING OF AMERICA SEMINAR. Gilbert Town Hall, 50 E Civic Center Dr, Gilbert. 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. $10 per participant. Please call 480-969-5641 to reserve a seat/study guide. The seminar will be taught by Earl Taylor, Jr., an excellent speaker who was recently featured on Glenn Beck. Topics include: “Developing America’s Great Success Formula” and “The Perfect Plan of Liberty,”

09/18/2010. CONSTITUTION FAIR. Gilbert Town Hall, 50 E Civic Center Dr, in the grass field area. 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
