The Thomas Jefferson Center is promoting Raise the Standard for Youth! This event is for kids ages 12-17. This 2-day event takes place on June 23 and 24, from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm. The cost is just $45.00. Particpants must bring their own lunch and dinner.
Students will learn 7 distinct standards that can make a positive difference in their lives and the lives of others. They will learn how to become leaders for the right kind of change in their communities.
Participants will learn to apply these new skills and knowledge to practical situations. This is an invigorating, fun event where students learn by doing.
Raise the Standard for Youth! will be held at the Clearview Cultural Center, 1355 S. Clearview Avenue, Suite 300 A, Mesa, Arizona 85209.
Speakers include: David Peterson (on Character), Nancy Genys (on Entertainment), Rob Robson (on Self-Reliance), Jason Mow (on Becoming a Hero in Today’s World), Victoria Corry (on Health), and The Restoration Generation (on Education & Unity).
