Dear friends and family;
We have a clear choice and a chance to make a real difference in the great town of Gilbert. Two of the finest Patriots I know are running for the Gilbert School Board: Eric Johnson for the two-year term and Daryl Colvin for one of the 4-year terms. These are two candidates who really want to make a difference in education for our families. If you really want quality education, Parental control of your children’s education, accountability of your hard earned dollars, more of your dollars going to the classroom, not to bureaucrats, then you will want to vote for Daryl and Eric.
It seems like most of the school board folks push for tax dollars as if it is what makes a difference. It certainly does take money. However, what’s needed is to make sure how the money is spent and where it is spent. More clear choices for parents, with Mom and Dad in charge of their child’s education, not unions or a bureaucrat.
I know these two folks to be fiscal conservatives who will put children and Parents first. We must make reforms a major part of our education platform. We must bring more accountability and transparency to our educational process. We are lucky in the sense we do have good public schools, Gilbert being among the best, but so much more needs to be done.
