Adam Kwasman (LD11) Explores Run Against Ann Kirkpatrick in CD1

Arizona Representative Adam Kwasman (LD11) has announced a possible run against Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick in Congressional District 1.  Please see Adam Kwasman Congress – Exploratory.

The Arizona Conservative Coalition has ranked Rep. Kwasman "Republican," among the top 7 representatives out of 36, with a voting score of 88.2.

Rep. Kwasman was one of the Arizona conservative members of the House who fought hard against the Medicaid expansion vote.  Here is a video of one of his speeches.

“The Gang of Six”

by Sylvia Allen, Navajo County Supervisor, District 3.
Former Arizona State Senator

President Reagan:  "You can’t be for big Government, big taxes, and big bureaucracy and still be for the little guy."

Why is it that elected officials don’t learn from history, and why do some stray from sound principles?

Some Background:  During my first two weeks as a state senator in June of 2008, the legislature was finalizing the last Napolitano budget.  For the prior five years of her governorship, her state budgets had increased by a billion dollars in spending each year.  The next year, as we prepared to vote on the budget, the state had a $3 billion deficit.  The next three years were gut-wrenching, as we had to cut spending and borrow money to bring the state budget back in balance.  We worked hard to accomplish this without increasing taxes that would have put more of a burden on businesses and our citizens.

On May 16 of this year, six Republican Senators (Rich Crandall, Steve Pierce, John McComish, Adam Driggs, Bob Worsley, and Michele Reagan) forgot this past budget history, as well as their conservative principles.  But, much worse, they turned on their fellow Republicans and voted with Senate Democrats in an amendment feeding frenzy that resulted in a pork-heavy, spend-expand-grow budget that increased the proposed balanced budget by $306 million.

The Lie that is Michele Reagan

by Christine Bauserman
Alliance for Principled Conservatives

Senator Michele Reagan from Legislative District 23 is the most effective traitor to ever serve in the Arizona Legislator.  Michele can currently be found skipping through the state asking you to forgive her, again, for banding with a traitorous group of Republicans and voting, again, with the Democrats, and oh pretty please can you not add her name on that censure. Michele has been a traitor not once not twice but three separate times granting her the distinct status as “the traitor who has survived” and is now so emboldened by her ability to make excuses for rolling the Senate President and bringing Obrewercare to Arizona that she is asking for a promotion! She wants to be the next Secretary of State and probably has her eye on the governor seat.

To prove that good silver-tongued politicians from Chicago are not solely confined to the Democrat party, Michele is now running through the legislative district circuit lying about her vote for Obrewercare.  And just in case you want to try and argue her mastery of the “excuse” she delivers by changing her story for different LD’s proving her knack for being consistently inconsistent.

Medicaid Expansion Means More Late Term Abortions, Infanticide in Arizona

I recently sent the following email to Governor Jan Brewer and these Arizona Republican representatives who either plan to vote YES to Arizona’s Medicaid expansion, or are leaning toward voting YES.  I wanted them to know, without a doubt, that they will have a hand in increasing grisly preborn deaths.

Dear Representatives Kate Brophy McGee (LD28); Heather Carter (LD15); Doug Coleman (LD16); Jeff Dial (LD18); Karen Fann (LD1); Tom Forese (LD17); Doris Goodale (LD5); Ethan Orr (LD9); Frank Pratt (LD8); Bob Robson (LD18); T. J. Shope (LD8); Andy Tobin (LD1):

No matter how much anyone protests, the fact is that if you vote to expand Medicaid in Arizona, you are voting for the deaths of thousands more preborn children, even infanticide, as this undercover video confirms:  INHUMANE:  Undercover in America’s Late Term Abortion Industry:  Infanticide in Arizona.

You realize, don’t you, that in late term abortions, the abortionist dismembers the “fetus” in utero and sucks out its brains.

Obama to Brewer: “Ok, Sweetie. Now Dance for Me”

The photo in this article and this part of the lead sentence says it all:

"…a major victory in her battle against conservative members of her own party."  With that, Brewer gets Obama’s federal money to add hundreds of thousands of Arizonans to the Medicaid rolls.

Dance, Brewer, Dance, dance, and dance for Obama.  He who has the gold rules.

Here’s the story:  Judge Tosses Lawsuit Challenging Brewer’s Medicaid Expansion Plan.  It’s funny that the title is accurate calling it an "expansion.  Yet in the body of the article, the Tribune first calls it a "restoration." These Leftist rags are so predictable.

Valentine’s Day is for Taxpayers

Valentine’s Day is for Taxpayers is a fund-raising event to be held on Feb. 13 (Thursday) to help elect Constitutional Conservative Republicans to the state legislature.  If you are a taxpayer, you want these folks on your side.  In the last Arizona legislative session, Governor Brewer and 14 Republican legislators voted with Democrats to bring Obamacare to Arizona, along with a tax increase, and along with more funding for abortion providers.  They did this, even though 29 out of 30 Arizona Legislative Districts, as well as several counties, had passed Resolutions to try to stop them.  They ignored their conservative base and threw the Republican party and the Constitution under the bus.

We have a Republic and a state to save.  We cannot do it without your help!!!

Please attend this very important event:

Medicaid Expansion is not Insurance; It’s a Loan

In a December 15, 2013 blog article titled "If you Like your house, You can Keep your house," the brave new world of "Medicaid Expansion" gets murky:
"On October 17, Beverly Woods asked a disturbing question on the DailyKos.com website.What happens to the assets of people who now meet the expanded criteria for Medicaid?  Medicaid was designed to ensure healthcare for the truly destitute, and existing state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures are based on the assumption that people on Medicaid have essentially no disposable assets. The Act Formerly Known as Obamacare changes that.
" Medicaid does not insure Americans against medical expenses–it loans them the money to pay expenses, and takes it all back when they die.

"You could call it a "death tax," if that term hadn’t been taken. Next year, Americans who die with more than five million dollars in assets will pay 40% in taxes. Americans who die on Medicaid will pay 100% of their Medicaid expenses before their heirs get one penny.

"Family farm? Gone. Mom and Pop shop? Gone. Nana’s house, with her snow-white picket fence around her prize-winning garden? Gone, gone, gone.

"Is there a way around this problem? There is not supposed to be, for long-term care expenses. The system is designed to loan money to people who have no assets, and to recover as much government money as possible from people who do have assets. Lots of people have tried to hide their assets from the government, with limited success. In particular, parents may not deed their houses over to their children to evade their debts–if they do, and incur medical expenses any time during the next 60 months, the children will be required to pay Medicaid back."
In a related by Dr. Jane Orient, titled ORIENT: Medicaid as a Tax on the ‘estates’ of the Poor, Arizona is specifically referenced.  Dr. Orient practices internal medicine in Tucson, AZ, and is executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. She states:
