The ESSA Gives States the Right to Allow Parents to Opt Out of Federally Required Tests

In thanking Georgia’s Sen. Johnny Isakson, Sen. Lamar Alexander made it clear that a major contribution to the passage of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) was "Sen. Isakson’s insistence on an amendment that gives states the right to allow parents the right to opt out of federally required tests.”   (See :46 mark.)  Please support Arizona’s HB2056, which gives parents this right!
