NO NEW CODES! Please sign the Petition

For the last several months, Rusdon Ray, a local draftsman and home designer, has been meeting with Gilbert Town management to talk about the new International Code Council’s (ICC) 2012 Construction Codes.  Rusdon has been joined by other professionals in the construction industry, as well as Gilbert citizens.  They do NOT believe it is in the best interest of Gilbert families for the Gilbert Town Council to pass these thousands of pages of codes into law.  Doing so also violates private property rights and the free market economy.

Both Cory Carpenter and Rusdon have written articles about why the codes should not be passed into law.  Their group has also initiated a Petition, which you can find on their website nonewcodes.com.   You can go here to No New Codes for more information.
