Has YOUR Legislator been Endorsed by Pro Common Core, Anti-Parent “Stand for Children”?

Stand for Children/Arizona has just endorsed 26 candidates for the Arizona Legislature in the Primary Election on August 30.  “Stand for Children Arizona does not take its endorsement process lightly.  These candidates have been fully vetted to make sure they currently agree with, and will stay true to a majority of Stand’s policies and educational priorities that we believe will bring the quickest results."

A review of Stand for Children/Arizona’s website indicates that this group proudly supports the entire Common Core agenda, aka Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards, including AzMerit.

Stand is proud to have defeated a litany of anti-Common Core legislation, as well as other bills that parents have fought for, including the defeated SB1455.  This bill would have acknowledged that parents know more than the State about what’s best for their own children.  These parents wanted to opt their children out of the unvalidated, secretive AzMerit.  Stand would have none of it.  See "Top Legislative Results."

Parents and their children suffered verbal and emotional abuse at the hands of school administrators, teachers, other parents, and other students for daring to opt out of AZMerit.  Remember?  See Sen. Allen calls for schools to respect parents over assessment concerns, The Schools’ War On Arizona’s Children: Part 1, The Schools’ War on Arizona’s Children: Part 2 Online Charter Schools The Schools’ War on Arizona’s Children: Part 3 Emotional Child Abuse.

Voters should be wary of groups that "sound" wonderful.  Scratch the surface, and you discover how pro-Statist and anti-Family they truly are.   Expect More Arizona is another such group.  See Is Expect More Arizona in it for the Money?

Jimmy Lindblom and LaCinda Lewis Endorsed by Pro Common Core, Anti-Parent “Stand for Children”

Stand for Children/Arizona has just endorsed Jimmy Lindblom, who is running for a Senate seat against Warren Petersen in LD12, and LaCinda Lewis, who is competing against Eddie Farnsworth  and Travis Grantham in the House.

Andy Biggs: True Constitutional Conservative for Congress

Senator Andy Biggs is a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Congressional District 5.  As demonstrated during his tenure in the Arizona Senate, Andy Biggs knows more about the U.S. Constitution, the Founders’ lives, Founding documents and letters, and historical books than 98% of the entire House and Senate in Washington, DC.  Certainly more than the current President.  Certainly more than anyone running against him.

More importantly, Senator Biggs respects the Constitution and his Oath to uphold it.   One group of supporters that appreciates Senator Biggs’ knowledge of the U.S. Constitution and his ability to educate other legislators and his own constituents about its enumerated powers are the leaders of Arizona’s Anti-Common Core battle.

The National Common Core Standards System

This heavily referenced, 48-page document is the result of three months of research effort on the part of members of Arizona’s Mommy Lobby, with the help of Emmett McGroarty of the American Principles Project.   It has been distributed to Arizona’s House and Senate Education Committees, Governor Ducey’s office, most of Arizona’s leadership, as well as the Arizona State Board of Education.  If you have questions about Common Core in Arizona (aka Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards) most of the answers are contained in this document titled the National Common Core Standards System

Chapter headings include:  1) History of Common Core: America and Arizona; 2) The Common Core are Inferior, Defective, and do Not Lead to Readiness for Authentic College Work; 3) High Stakes Testing; 4) Data Collection and Personally Identifiable Information; and 5) Teacher Accountability.

Bob Worsley’s Anti-Parent Votes

You will find this statement on Legislative District 25 incumbent Senator Bob Worsley’s website:  “Family has defined my life..”  How nice…..for him and his family.  But he has no respect for your family, or your fundamental liberty as a parent to “direct the upbringing, education, health care, and mental health of your children.”  This God-given right is honored and upheld in the Arizona Constitution.  See Arizona Revised Statutes 1-601 and 1-602 explicitly protect parental rights.

Please consider Official Write-In Candidate Itasca Small, NOT Bob Worsley.

Nobody–and no entity–has the right to insert themselves between you as a responsible, caring, and protective parent and your own child.  Nobody!

But that’s exactly what Bob Worsley (along with his Democrat allies and arrogant RINO cronies Jeff Dial, Adam Driggs, and Steve Pierce) have been doing.

They have voted against every attempt by true conservative legislators to return our K-12 educational system to Arizona, local school districts, and parents.

Worsley and his RINO gang have repeatedly voted against parental opt-out rights.  They have repeatedly voted to retain the nationalized Common Core system, including its aligned curriculum, and whatever assessments (PARCC, AZMERIT) are aligned with them. (If you haven’t educated yourself about the unvalidated, federal/corporate take-over of our local K-12 schools, I suggest you begin by spending 40 minutes watching BUILDING THE MACHINE – The Common Core Documentary.  You will know more about CC than 90% of elected officials at both the state and federal levels. Also read  The National Common Core Standards System.  Also see articles listed below.)

Bob Worsley’s voting record proves beyond a shadow of doubt that he is very comfortable with Big Government, Big Corporate, and Special Interest control over the education that every Arizona child receives beginning in Kindergarten through Grade 12.

He has helped defeat excellent bills that would have allowed Arizona, local school boards, and parents determine what’s best for Arizona’s students.  These bills include:

Gilbert Watch Supports Warren Petersen for Arizona Senate

It has never been more important than now to elect solid conservatives with a voting record that backs up their rhetoric.  So it is with Warren Petersen, who is running for Arizona Senate in LD12.  As a state representative, he stood up for families and the unborn, for local support and control of education, and for the independent business person.  His votes are testimony to his fight against overbearing regulations that hurt businesses and our economy.  He has repeatedly protected our Second Amendment rights.  Rep. Petersen is very knowledgeable about complex issues, and he knows how to protect the hard-working taxpayer from the big spenders at the Capitol.

Dr. Kelli Ward; “Spoiler” Alex Meluskey; and John McCain’s Relentless Attacks on Kelli Ward

Recently, a supporter of Alex Meluskey stepped into an email that was sent from Gila County Republican Committee Chairman Gary Morris to the GCRC Precinct Committeemen announcing an upcoming PC meeting.  This Alex Meluskey Supporter isn’t one of our PC’s.  He took issue with an item that Chairman Morris had included in his email, which was a comment from Yavapai GOP Activist Jim Dutton which appeared in the 7/2/2016 MCRC News Briefs.

Mr. Dutton wrote: "Time to Take One for the Team – I wish to thank all of the Senatorial candidates for their willingness to run against John McCain. All of you have stressed the importance of retiring McCain for the good of Arizona and its citizens. It’s time now for each of you to evaluate the best course of action in order to accomplish the goal of removing McCain. You must put your egos aside and allow your patriotism and professed desire to serve your State and Country to be your guide. Everyone knows that multiple candidates in the primary race will only help John McCain. Therefore, we the people beseech Alex Meluskey, Scott McBean and Clair Van Steenwyck to take the high road and withdraw from this race today. The writing is on the wall guys and it’s time to face reality. Play the men for your people and unite behind the only candidate who has proven to be a challenger to John McCain – Kelli Ward. How do you want to be remembered? As a spoiler who helped get McCain elected or as a true patriot whose self-sacrifice and patriotism were clearly demonstrated for all of Arizona to see? Please, for all of Arizona! Take one for the Team."

The Supporter fired back at all the PC’s as follows:

"WHY doesn’t WARD DROP OUT and let somebody with a CONSERVATIVE VOTING RECORD run??WE THE PEOPLE HAVENT EVER AND WILL NOT VOTE FOR LIBERALS RUNNING ASD CONSERVATIVES.Check her voting record then Vote for Alex Meluskey for #AZSEN2016 #DUMPWARDINAZ."

Several of our PC’s nicely, but firmly, responded to the Supporter, with comments favorable to Mr. Dutton’s MCRC post.

Since I’m a GCRC PC, I’m publishing my response to the Meluskey Supporter, which follows:
